Too Bloody Cold

The current temperature is -34 Degrees C. This is almost too cold to even think, let alone start a car, drive the kids to daycare, drop off my wife at her workplace and continue on to my office, plug the block heater in and work.

On the other hand, yesterday I waited at home for the blizzard that was noted on Environment Canada's website (the whole national map was almost red with the weather warnings) because we didn't want to get stranded on the road on the way to work / school / daycare or back home at the end of the day. After calling in to my office, there was no bad weather and I was able to put in a few hours at work.

Where does that leave me ... too cold and in Saskatoon, scared to go out to do some errands during my lunch.
